You’re invited to “Christmas with Almanzo”!
Our last event of the year is our favorite….Christmas with Almanzo is a traditional holiday celebration with mulled cider, cookies, and carol singing in the parlor. The museum in the visitors’ center is transformed into ‘craft central’ for children, where they can have fun stringing popcorn and making ornaments. We’ll read the Farmer Boy Christmas chapter at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30. The shop will be open for gift purchases (books, folk toys, ornaments, collectibles…) and we’ll be happy to wrap them for you!
Plan your day to make sure you can also stop in at the Franklin County House of History for their annual Christmas Tea and Festival of Trees! 12-4 pm on Milwaukee Street. http://www.franklinhistory.org/
